Shakira & Dolph Lundgren Date

After work last night me and two of my colleagues got the opportunity to go to the "Skavlan" show for a "date" with these two celebrities. I would have expected Dolph Lundgren to be as per his movie characters – Macho, tough, rough and nonchalant. However he proved to be a very sensitive, deep and intelligent person truly opening up to Skavlan and the audience in this interview. He has definitely grown in my eyes.

Shakira was much smaller in real life than I would have thought, showing up with her entire posse in this cute little outfit. Truly beautiful. Surprisingly, she had many insightful and smart things to say in her interview – and like she so very rightfully said in her interview about women:

“We might wear short skirts but we can still think”.

We had to wait for her make-up and hair to be refreshed for quite some time before she performed “Did It Again” from her new album “She Wolf” (which we actually got to enjoy twice for a re-take), but it was surely worth the wait since she’s such a professional and multi-dimensional performer.

A very nice and spontaneous Thursday event.
